The Wind in My Sails

When You Feel Yourself Rising

Sometimes it’s a bold leap. Other times, it’s the quiet act of showing up—again and again—for something that matters to you.

Welcome to The Wind in My Sails, a place where we celebrate the passions, pursuits, and personal triumphs that remind us just how far we’ve come—and how much more we’re capable of.

For some, it’s a creative spark reignited. A canvas filled after years of doubt. A painting of your son that speaks volumes about love, legacy, and talent. For others, it might be climbing a literal mountain. Or just finally speaking their truth out loud.

This space isn’t about perfection. It’s about pride. In the effort. In the evolution. In the joy of finally saying, I did this for me.

A Dancer’s Balance:

How Art, Confidence & Community Carried Me Here

That’s me in the photo—15 years old, full of movement and dreams, dancing barefoot across a hardwood floor that held my hopes like a stage.

I didn’t know it then, but dancing was the beginning of a lifelong journey with the arts. One that would shape how I see the world, how I express myself, and ultimately... how I’d build this community.

What I lacked in self-worth, I made up for in self-confidence. I didn’t always feel certain, but I did feel called. And that calling carried me through decades of reinvention—from Dancer to Fashion Illustrator Art Director to Interior Designer and now as a painter … from creative soul to platform builder for other women on their own path of rediscovery.

Today, I still create—on canvas, in conversation, and in this shared space we’re building together.

This community is my latest masterpiece.

It’s not framed or finished, but it’s rich with the colors of courage, curiosity, and connection. And I couldn’t be more honored to share it with you.

Your Turn:

  • What’s one early passion that’s stayed with you—or found its way back?

  • How has your personal history shaped what you feel most proud of now?

  • What part of your story do you think might be the wind in someone else’s sails?

Let’s Fill Each Other’s Sails:

  • What project, pursuit, or moment recently made you feel proud—like truly proud?

  • What passion have you reclaimed or discovered in this chapter of life?

  • How do you celebrate yourself—and how can we celebrate with you?

No comparisons. No apologies. Just stories of rising into your own wind—wherever it's blowing you next.

Because every time you share your momentum, you help another woman catch her breeze too. Thank you for being here. Let’s keep building something beautiful—together.
